Later deleted and archived, Thaiboy Digital released a 'Draw my Life' back in 2012 on Youtube. The video features Thaiboys upbringing, and what it was like moving from Thailand to Sweden at a young age.
Synopsis
In the beginning, Thaiboy mentions how he got the nickname 'Nino'. One reason was that his full name, Thanapat Thaothawong (originally Khazitin Bonleunge, but he later changed it due to it rhyming with Ya Tuek Tin , which translates to Getting a foot up in the jaw) was too difficult for students and teachers in Sweden to pronounce. He got the nickname Nino because in Thailand his friends and family would call him 'Noh', which sounded similar to it.
Thaiboy was born in a city called Khon Kaen, located in the North-East part of Thailand, speaking their own dialect called 'Isan'. When he was 5 he moved to Bangkok and lived in the Swiss Embassy with his Mother, Later meeting his father for the first time.
Roughly when Thaiboy was 9, his Mother was offered a job in Sweden. However, Thaiboy and his dad didn't leave with her at the time. They moved back to Khon while his mother worked. In the same year, they received a call from Thaiboys mom, stating they were to come to Sweden and live with her. "Coming into Sweden was like coming into a whole new world" He described. Everything here was totally different, instead of just learning a new dialect he had to learn a new language, culture and make new friends.
Thaiboy came to Sweden on the 12th of August 2004 and lived in Östermalm, Stockholm. Over time, he had lived in 8 different locations and attended 6 different schools. Thaiboy states how grateful he is for his circumstances, but just wishes he could stay in one place so he could officially call it 'home'.
Narrative
Khazitin Bonleunge, He was short and teased because of his first name. He had two close friends he grew up with in Bangkok.
Khazitin Thaothawong, Was that kid who attended a Christian school in Bangkok and knew a few bible verses. Remote-controlled cars were the best thing he knew!
Thanapat Thaothawong, Was an animal lover, he looked after his chickens and cows. He loved soccer, even though he wasn't the best at it. He never got to play at recess, but was happy to be just a substitute.
Nino, Is that guy who thinks he's really strong, even though he isn't. He enjoys listening to Waka Flocka and Soulja Boy, They go crazy. He hangs around the city with his boys, Then meets up with his girl who is truly amazing.
