Biography
Thanapat Bunleang (born Khazitin Bonleunge, October 11, 1994), known professionally as Thaiboy Digital [aka.Thaiboy Goon] is a Thai rapper, singer, producer as well as (legendary) member of the artistic collective Drain Gang. Bunleang is currently based in Bangkok, Thailand.
Bunleang was born in Kohn Kaen, Thailand. In 2004, when Bunleang was nine years old, he moved to Stockholm, Sweden together with his family, as Bunleang's mom was offered a job at the Austrian embassy.
Around the end of 2011, Bunleang met Whitearmor, Bladee and Ecco2k. Together they began making music, with Bunleang releasing his first song "FUCK U". In 2013, Bunleang and Whitearmor proposed the idea of forming a music collective to the other two now Drain Gang members.
In 2015, Bunleang was forced to leave Sweden by Migrationsverket, Sweden's immigration authority, due to the expiration of his mother's work visa. He subsequently moved back to Thailand and settled in Bangkok. Yung Lean attempted to help Bunleang with an appeal petition via Change.org, and publicly defending Bunleang in defiance against Migrationsverket's policy.
In Bangkok, Bunleang started collaborating with local artists such as Younggu and Dandee while also remaining a member of Drain Gang. He contributed to all of their subsequent releases, including their 2019 album "@Trash Island," which was partially recorded in Bunleang's Bangkok apartment.
