Warlord Tour — Index · Drain Archive

The Warlord Tour was a 72-date Yung Lean and Sad Boys world tour across North America, Europe, and Oceania, which took place between December 29, 2015, and October 2, 2016. Most of the tour was supported by Bladee, with the other Drain Gang members and Adamn Killa appearing on select dates. The tour was in promotion of the release of Yung Lean's album Warlord.

The North American portion of the Warlord tour is documented in War Magazine.

Promotion

The initial wave of tour dates was announced together with the announcement of Warlord, on January 20, 2016. Tickets for the tour went on sale on January 22.

The tour was organized by YEAR0001, in association with Windish Agency, and Coda Agency (now merged as Paradigm Agency).

Tour diary

The Warlord Tour was documented extensively in a large archive of media including digital and analog images shot by members of Sad Boys, Drain Gang, and the tour crew. Several of the images have been used in the promotion and the physical packaging of the Warlord album. The photographs show a personal view of the tour and include portraits of a wide cast of Warlord contributors including Bladee, Ecco2k, Yung Sherman, Thaiboy Digital, Adamn Killa, among others.

Tour dates

The tour was initially announced on January 20, 2016, with 38 dates, including the already passed Yung Lean debut Australia tour.

A second wave of announcements followed in April 2016, with new dates in the USA and Europe. A few additional festival performances were also added to the tour, as it was ongoing.

A third wave of dates was added in July 2016, with new dates in Australia and New Zealand, most of which being performances at the Listen Out Festival.
